Bjørn Einrem was born in Stavanger / Norway in April 20th 1945 and have lived here since. He engaged in the oil business up to present date as an engineer in a service company, (he has now taken an early retirement to consentrate on his hobbies)

He commenced scuba diving in 1963, and engaged himself in underwater
photography a few years later. The diving is now past history, but the interest for marin biology still remains.

He has been interested in wild life and nature photography since childhood years and using different rangefinder cameras, and acquired his first Nikon SLR- camera in 1972. From year 2000 he desided to go digital.

The resent years has been devoted to nature photography with a special
focus on Norwegian preditor birds.
