Þórður Gylfason (Tordur Gylfason) was born in Iceland in 1974. He moved to Norway together with most of his family in 1981. His interest for photography got a serious boost when he got himself a SLR in 1997. However, the purchase of a digital camera in 2004 made it possible to experiment more. His favorite motive is whatever catches his eye, so anything from a broken toy to a birds foot will be caught on camera.

He is a member of Bryne Fotoklubb, and has been a part of their annual exibitions the last years. He also holds photo courses from time to time together with Ingeborg Skrudland.
