Paul Biseth was born in 1948 in Oslo and has been living in
Bergen since 1968. He started photographing around 1970 with a
compact Minolta and got is first SLR Minolta in 1972. “Converted” to
Nikon five years later and has worn out a Nikkormat, a Nikkormat EL,
a Nikon EL, a Nikon F 3, two Nikon F4s and a Nikon D2X. Now he is
armed with a Nikon D3 and carries a camera bag with some 12 kgs of
Nikkor lenses.

He has been travelling extensively and has a record of some 45 countries world wide, with Antarctica, Svalbard, Patagonia and an Atlantic crossing with a 44” Catamaran as the most spectacular trips. His Portfolio mainly consists of landscapes, seascapes, icescapes, birds and mammals.
He is now retired and spends most of his time travelling and trying to catch up with the photo editing after each trip.
