Helge Helland was borne in Stavanger/Norway in 1968, and he now lives in Aalgaard together with his wife and two children. He works as a carpenter for a local company. In 2006 he started an individual enterprise called Helland Naturfokus. Through this company Helge works with tasks related to nature and outdoor activities. A part of this work is photography.

He took an interest in nature as a little kid, and he bought his first mirror reflex camera only at an age of only 14. This camera was a faithful companion on many trips. In 2000 he got new camera equipment, and he have since then been possessed by nature photography. The nature experience and to come close to birds and animals is what makes him engaged in this activity.


He is currently a member of Biofoto and Bryne Photo Club.
