After growing up in Trondheim, Christian Tiller now lives in Stavanger working as a consultant in Plastic Surgery at the Stavanger University Hospital.

Christian started his interest i nature with birds at the age of 14. His first camera, a Nikon F-301, was bought after countless mournings of delivering newspapers. Today Christian photographs outdoors as often as time allows and has specialised in birds. He is among other the first author of the nordic teaching book in bird photography called "Flyktige motiver - kunsten å fotografere fugler" (in Norwegian only).
