The Kargopol toys - figures with roots in the pre-Christian cult

Date: 1995-11 To day the Kargopol clay toys are considered to be decorative figures. But in the past they were peasants children's toys, which is supposed to have their roots from the pre-Christian religion as symbols of birth, fertility or braveness, as the mother (earth), the sun, the bear.
