![]() Any message about elks? ©Øyvind Ravna Date: 1995-09 "Vera Andreevna Polyanina was a young enthusiastic girl with a tragic fate. She joined the partisan group Bolshevik Zapolyariya at the age of 21. After she lost her boyfriend, who also was a partisan, she committed suicide. Her name was never written on the monument of the young partisans who gave their life for the war against the Nazi Germans (see pic. 012206). Only fifty years after her dead a monument was raised on the Partisan Island of the young female soldier (the story can be red in ""Vandringer i Grenseland - only in Norwegian language)." |
